The yoga room

A quiet room, set apart.

Our yoga room is a dedicated space within the Southlake practice, separate from the clinical rooms, where the pace slows down. Sessions are designed to be approachable, whether you practice regularly or haven’t been on a mat in years.

Editor note · Describe the room

Add details about the room: size, natural light, flooring, equipment provided (mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets), class capacity, and what to wear or bring.

Why movement matters

Movement and calm, as part of a routine you’ll keep.

Regular movement supports strength, balance, mobility, and overall wellbeing at every age. The hardest part is often making it a habit you enjoy.

Yoga offers a gentle way in. Sessions may include slow strength work, stretching, balance practice, breathing, and guided relaxation. Many people find that time set aside to move and breathe becomes a welcome part of their week. To confirm

Everyone’s experience is different, and we don’t promise specific outcomes. What we can offer is a supportive room, thoughtful instruction, and a place in the L’Élysée community.

Alongside your care

How yoga may complement your plan

During your personalized assessment, you can talk with Dr. Sylvie about whether yoga fits your goals. For some patients it becomes a regular part of their plan. For others it is simply a pleasant extra.

  • A gentle way to build or return to regular movement
  • Mobility and balance practice that can be adapted to your body
  • Time for breathing and slowing down in a busy week
  • A consistent routine alongside strength, nutrition, and sleep goals

A note on yoga

Yoga at L’Élysée is offered as a supportive wellness practice. It does not treat menopause, cause weight loss, or balance hormones, and it is not a replacement for medical care. Many people simply find it a steady, welcoming way to move.
